Workshop in Kyoto, let’s knit Ginette doll knitwear
On the occasion of the joint exhibition “‘Tricots d’une Parisienne’ and ‘Poupées d’Animaux'” with Demie Place in November 2018, we will organize a knitting doll knitwear workshop for her famous doll, Ginette.
We offer two knitting workshops, book the one that appeals to you the most!
NO. 1 “Angora Ginette’s Woolly Hat”
We are knitting a woolly hat for Ginette which is the same model as the “Ultra-light angora beret cap” presented in our book “Tricots d’une Parisienne“(edited by Bunka Publishing Bureau).
You’ll have enough yarn left to make the adult model afterwards!
Participation fees:
3500 yen (includes an Cœur d’angora ball from Fonty’s, a vintage glass button, a snood pattern, tea and cookies)
NO. 2 “Ginette’s Vest”
Using mohair produced by a French farm, which is also used for the « ‘Crockery’ Lopi sweater » in the book “Tricots d’une Parisienne”, let’s knit a little vest for our favorite doll.
You can choose the knitting stitch you like for the vest and also a vintage button found in a French flea market.
We also offer you our snood pattern, which can be made with the remaining thread.
Participation fees for doll knitwear workshop:
5000 yen (includes a ball of Pure Mohair from Au fil des Nuages, tea and cookies)
Schedules:
Up to 6 people can attend each workshop. First come, first served!
1st day (Friday, 23th): 14:00-17:00
2nd day (Saturday, 24th): 11:15-14:15
