Our original knitting pattern kit for socks with vegetable-dyed wool is now available in our e-shop!
Organic is the groundswell that’s riding in Paris right now.
More than a commitment to a better quality product, and rich in sensations, this Parisian “Bio” (“Organic”) spirit is urban and modern, sophisticated and very fashionable. We want to reflect this trend in our knitting creations, by offering functional products, adapted to an urban and elegant, in short, Parisian lifestyle.
That’s why we have just released this “Bookletkit N°3” which will detail how to knit these socks. You’ll even find 3 different types of patterns, 3 models of comfortable socks that can be worn in the city.
These patterns are sold with our “PARIS NATURE” wool, a super washed baby merino wool, 100% natural and made in France, elaborated and produced by Porcs-épics Tricoteur. This wool has been hand-dyed by the marvellous Parisian artisanal brand “WHOLE“, with vegetable, natural products (plant extracts, minerals).
When creating these socks for everyday use, we paid special attention to :
Use 100% natural and soft materials that keep you warm all winter long!
Easy care: this wool is superwashable (machine washable)
Neither too tight nor too loose, these socks fit snugly over your ankles and can therefore be worn with ordinary shoes.
To make such socks, we thought of a pattern with some specifics:
“toe”, “heel” and “ankle” parts that are simple and easy to remember. So if you want to vary the patterns for other pairs of socks, these essential bases can be reused as is.
